Training Systems
All Champion Training Systems riders locally will be required to have an initial
consultation and ramp test to determine cycling history, agreed goals and identify heart rate and power training zones.
Price for one off test and consultation is $150.00 NZD including GST. ($70.00 for ramp test, and $80.00 for consultation)
Additional Services
Costs for extra services are over and above the Professional and Elite Training Packages, but are at discounted rates.
  1. Physiological test package available through the University of Canterbury at discounted rates .
  2. Biomechanical analysis for the rider who wants the optimum position for maximum power delivery and comfort through the University of Canterbury.
  3. Personal 1 on 1 training with Lauren Gyde to work on core stability and muscle imbalances.
  4. Personalised strength and conditioning programmes depending on the event you are training for by either Lauren or the University of Canterbury.
  5. Injury Prevention/Rehabilitation or massage from Mark or Anthony at Active Health.
  6. Health and wellbeing monitored by Doctor Nat Anglem at Active Health ( sports doctor )
Professional
Recommended for the rider who wants the expertise and support to perform on the world stage.
  1. Work with Head Coach
  2. Annual Training Plan
  3. Personalised hand built training programmes
  4. 4 weekly training cycles built around your prioritised events
  5. Daily assessment of training files
  6. HR or Powermeter monitoring and feedback (as required)
  7. Unlimited athlete initiated communication (except weekends) via e-mail/ skype during NZ time zones
  8. Daily coach initiated communication if required.
  9. Physiological Testing results feedback and consultation
  10. Bi weekly meetings for those who live in the area
Elite
Recommended For riders who are competing at National level or age group international competitions.
  1. Work with Head Coach
  2. 3 month personal training plan
  3. Personalised hand built training programmes
  4. 4 week training cycles built around your priority events
  5. Twice weekly assessment of training files.
  6. Weekly powermeter or heart rate assessment and feedback
  7. Unlimited athlete initiated communication by e-mail / skype during NZ work time or by prior arrangement, except weekends
  8. Weekly coach initiated communication or by prior arrangement.
Track
We can cater for any level from World Class through to novice, in any discipline. The programmmes will be tailored to your needs and requirements.

  3. Personalised hand build training programme
  4. Training phases built around prioritised events
  5. Twice weekly assessment of training and feedback
  6. Track Training sessions
  7. Unlimited athlete initiated communication during NZ work hours or by prior arrangement except weekends.
  8. Weekly coach initiated communication.
Recreational
Programmes to suit those who are training for major fun rides, or entry level with a view to progressing in the sport.

  3. Generic hand built training programme
  4. 4 week training cycles built around your priority event
  5. Weekly training assessment
  6. Bi weekly athlete initiated communication by e-mail/skype/phone, during NZ work hours
