About Us
Champion Training Systems was founded in 2007 by Terry Gyde from
Christchurch, New Zealand. Terry has been New Zealand Track cycling Coach until
resigning to start up this new venture.
Terry has coached at the very highest level on both Track and Road and also had
success with elite Mountain bike Riders. Riders who he coached or were on his training
systems have won Olympic, World, Junior World, Commonwealth, Inter Continental and National Titles, as well as he has coached Professional riders in both the men’s and women’s European and US peletons. Their successes have included stage podiums in the Vuelta, Tour of Britain, Redlands overall, and 4 victories incuding Phillidelphia International classic and Reading.
Terry claims that the reason for this ongoing success is that he surrounds himself with the best support staff available, including sports scientists, Physicians, Physiotherapists, and strength and conditioning experts.
Maintaining this success with Champion Training Systems, Terry has again surrounded himself with the best support team available, who have all worked at world level in cycling in their respective fields.
So if you are training to be a world beater or training for a fun ride and you want to be the best you can possibly be, then you deserve to have the latest in training and support programmes available through Champion Training Systems.
